The MapInfluenCE team is establishing a regular presence in Brussels, focusing on advocacy and outreach activities, based on our leading research on the influence of China and other authoritarian actors in Central Europe and beyond.
As part of our activities in Brussels, the MapInfluenCE together with the International Republican Institute organized a discussion with Brussels propaganda and disinformation experts on April 25,2022, revolving around our latest study on the confluence of pro-China and pro-Russia narratives in the Czech and Slovak ‘alternative’ media ecosystem.
On April 26, 2022, the MapInfluenCE team also provided a briefing to MEPs on the issue of Chinese and Russian propaganda and disinformation in cooperation with MEP Miriam Lexmann.
